Description
The Dayliff DSD 5 Series is a high-performance submersible multistage centrifugal pump designed for domestic and light commercial water supply applications. Built for reliability and durability, the pump features polycarbonate impellers and diffusers, a cast iron discharge chamber, and a stainless steel pump body, shaft, and coupling. This construction ensures excellent sand handling capability and long service life in deep well installations.
Powered by a two-pole asynchronous motor running at 2850 rpm, the DSD 5 operates efficiently on a 50Hz power supply. It comes in both single-phase and three-phase options. Single-phase models are supplied with a Dayliff SCM control box offering protection against overload, low voltage, and dry running, while three-phase units are compatible with standard DOL starters. Optional Dayliff SCT controllers can be used for enhanced control and reliability.
The pump is suitable for clean, non-corrosive water with sand content up to 0.25%, and can be installed at immersion depths up to 150 meters. Operating temperature should not exceed 35°C, and it requires a minimum borehole diameter of 110mm.
Available in a wide range of models from DSD 5/10 to DSD 5/56, the series covers power requirements between 0.75kW (1HP) and 7.5kW (10HP). Single-phase models draw current between 6.2A and 15A, and three-phase models are designed for 415V supply. Each unit comes with a 30-meter cable as standard for single-phase models.
